STUDENT INDUCTION
Day 1 Monday 05.09.22 - Year 7/11/12
Years 7
- Arrival from 08.00AM to 08.30 - Mentors to meet students on the MUGAs
- Induction assembly 08.30 - 09.00.
- Mentor time P2 – tours and timetables.
- P3 timetabled lessons
- P6 Year 7 assembly at 14.30 Main Hall
Year 11
- Arrival from 08.00AM for 08.30 - mentors to meet mentees in atrium at 08.25.
- P1 mentor time – timetables issued.
- 09.10 Assembly and then back to Mentor
- P3 timetabled lessons for the rest of the day
Year 12
Year 12 Split over 2 days – no timetabled lessons. Sixth form induction, see seperate communication from Sixth Form Team
Day 2 Tuesday 06.09.22 - Year 9/10/12
Year 7 and 11 - mentor period 1 and 2 and then timetabled lessons from P3.
Year 10
- arrival from 08.00 for 08.30 and directed to the Shoreham Port Hall (new build)
- students collected by mentors at 08.25 and taken to assembly for 08.30
- Year 10 return to mentor base after assembly and receive timetable
Year 9
- arrival from 08.00 for 08.30; mentors to meet students on fire drill spot on MUGA.
- P1 in mentor room - timetables issued.
- Assembly 09.10, after which they return to the mentor base for ‘getting to know you’ activities.
Year 11 assembly with RSL 09.45. P3 starts after assembly.
Y7/9/10/11 - Timetabled lessons from P3
Year 12 Year 12 Split over day 1 and 2 – no timetabled lessons. Sixth form induction only.
Day 3 Wednesday 07.09.22 - Year 8/13
- Year 7, 9, 10, 11 - mentor period 1 and then timetabled lessons.
- Year 8 - arrival from 08.00 for 08.30 - mentors meet students 08.20 and line up on MUGA. Timetables issued. Assembly 08.30 to 09.00
- Y7/8/9/10/11/12/13 - Timetabled lessons from P2.
- Year 13: 8:30 Start Briefing in Library (timetable handout) – normal lessons
