- Numeracy Mentoring
- Peer Mentoring
- National Citizenship Scheme (NCS)
- Humanities Society
- First Aid Course
- University taster days & summer schools
- Fitness Club
- Safe Driving
- Sixth Form Sports Team
- Trips Abroad
- International Expeditions
- Alcohol Awareness
- Sports Leadership, officiating for Sports Day and other sporting events
Sixth Form students are also able to take on voluntary work in the local community; including:
- Working on a radio station in a local hospital
- Helping out in a local junior school
- Organising a lunch club for local pensioners
If students would like to participate in other activities which are not currently offered at the academy, we are always happy to help them establish new clubs or groups. We also support a range of volunteering opportunities. Many sixth form students;
- Volunteer and organise charitable events that support the wider community
- Work with the school Eco-group to support our local environment
