Key Dates for Year 6 - 7 transition
24th April 2024 – Online Parent webinar “How to support your child with the transition to secondary school” – 6pm to 7pm. Register for this event by clicking here
2nd, 3rd, 4th July 2024 – Transition day. Your child will be invited to spend one of these day with us and you will be invited to attend the transition evening on the same day. This evening will include a presentation, individual parent/student introduction meetings with members of the leadership team and an opportunity to meet your child’s mentor. We will write to you at the end of June to inform you which day your child needs to attend on.
19th, 20th, 21st August 2024 – Summer induction day. Your child will be invited to spend one of these days in school with their mentor group. We will write to you at the end of June to inform you which day your child needs to attend on.
You should find copies of all files required for the transition process attached to this page in due course. You will receive paper copies of these.
