Student Induction

Day 1 Tuesday 05.09.23 - Year 7/11/12 (For Y12 half of the year group will attend but no lessons) 

• Years 7  Arrival from 08.10 to 08.30 - Mentors to meet students on the MUGAs in front of fire drill signs and take to main hall. 
• Year 11  Arrival from 08.10 for 08.30 - mentors to meet mentees in atrium at 08.25.  
• Year 12  10.00 assembly. No timetabled lessons.  

Day 2 Wednesday 06.09.23 - Year 9/10 will join Y7/Y11. Second half of Y12, but no lessons. 

• Year 7 and 11 - Mentor Time period 1 and 2 and then timetabled lessons from P3.  

• Year 10 arrival from 08.10 for 08.30 and directed to the Shoreham Port Hall (new build). Mentors to collect. 

• Year 9  arrival from 08.10 for 08.30, Mentors to collect from MUGA 

• Y7/9/10/11 - Timetabled lessons from P3 

• Year 12  Year 12 second half – 10.00 assembly. No timetabled lessons.  

Day 3 Thursday 07.09.23 - Year 8/13 will join Y7/9/10/11/12 

• Year 7, 9, 10, 11 - Mentor period 1 and then timetabled lessons. 

• Year 8 - arrival from 08.10 for 08.30 - mentors meet students 08.20 and line up in fire drill spaces. 

• Year 13 – assembly 10.00 and then no lessons. 

• Y7/8/9/10/11/12 - Timetabled lessons from P2; mentor period 1. 

Day 4 Friday 08.09.23 

All year groups in mentor time P1, followed by lessons and scheduled assemblies
