Shoreham Academy is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of student Ronnie Deacon, whose talent, determination and commitment have driven an exceptional season in competitive kart racing.
During the half-term break, Ronnie was crowned Champion of the Daniel Ricciardo Series Championship at Silverstone, competing against some of the country's most promising young drivers. The prestigious victory earned Ronnie a winner's trophy, the coveted number one plate and a Daniel Ricciardo kart, which will be presented at a special awards ceremony next year.
The success does not stop there. Ronnie has also secured the championship title at Bayford Meadows, one of the UK's leading kart circuits, and achieved an impressive Top Five finish in the Club100 North Championship. This outstanding performance has earned Ronnie an exclusive invitation to compete internationally in Lake Garda, Italy next year.
What makes these achievements even more remarkable is Ronnie's ability to balance the demands of elite-level motorsport with his studies and commitments at Shoreham Academy. The dedication, resilience and hard work required to compete at such a high level are qualities that reflect the values we encourage in all our students.
