We were delighted to welcome so many students to our Science and Medical Pathways Event this week!
Students had a fantastic time speaking with NHS professionals and gaining valuable insight into a wide range of careers in healthcare. This included nursing, paramedic science, and medicine. Our KS5 Science Team, University Application Team, and Careers Advisor were also available throughout the evening to offer guidance for those exploring medical pathways or preparing for competitive applications. We were especially pleased to welcome Brighton and Sussex Medical School - one of the most popular destinations for our aspiring medics - who provided expert advice for our future applicants.
One of the highlights of the evening was welcoming back a number of Shoreham Academy alumni, now thriving in their own medical journeys. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and willingness to support the next generation of students pursuing medical careers!
