This week has been buzzing with energy as students across all year groups took part in a jam-packed lineup of careers sessions and workshops, designed to prepare them for life beyond the classroom. With daily careers sessions, guidance appointments and a steady stream of inspiring visitors, it’s been all systems go!
Our Year 9 and 10 students were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the world of high-value construction, thanks to Rob Winnifrith from Accel Consulting, right here in Shoreham. Rob brought a real live project into the classroom—giving students a taste of the skills, mindset, and teamwork required to deliver major construction work.
Meanwhile, our Year 12s faced the nerve-wracking but hugely rewarding experience of mock interviews, brilliantly led by Gareth Drake and the team from Octopus Energy. Thanks to Mr Langan's tireless coordination, students left more confident and ready to take on the professional world.
The interviews were impressively realistic, challenging students in the best way and delivering invaluable feedback. And the cherry on top? The Constantine plushies and goodies that students proudly carried out with them—definitely a highlight!
