Shoreham Academy Very Involved Parents (SAVIP)

Following the formation of Shoreham Academy in 2009/2010, members of the Parent Teacher Association reviewed the role and purpose of the PTA to see whether  it should review its aims and objectives. It was decided to rename the PTA to the Shoreham Academy Very Involved Parents (SAVIP).

Aims & Objectives of SAVIP:

The new committee has identified three key aims for SAVIP:

1. To positively promote Shoreham Academy within the local community;
2. To act as a liaison between parents/guardians and teachers on general school matters;
3. To raise funds for the benefit of the Shoreham Academy school community and local charities

The SAVIP team are really keen for as many parents / guardians to join them as possible. Whether you feel able to:

• help out at a one-off event or
• could assist on a more regular basis or
• would like to join the SAVIP team

We'd love to hear from you. "More hands make less work".
