Work Experience Introduction:

Recent guidance from the Department of Education has highlighted the benefit of work experience for college students as they are well placed to begin preparation for progression into employment or higher education.

As part of the 16-19 study programmes at Shoreham Academy, you will undertake a week of work experience:  Monday 8th July to Friday 12th July 2019.

Work Experience will help you:

Make informed choices about your future and career choice.

Gain an understanding of the expectations placed on employees in the work place.

Develop your understanding of the responsibilities of both employer and employees within the workplace

Gain an understanding of the skills and qualities that employer value
