Coronavirus - COVID-19 Group Update...

The Department for Education has launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:

Our Safeguarding Team are still available should you have any concerns related to Child Protection. Please contact reception who will put you through to a member of the Safeguarding team, or email dsl@shoreham-academy.org. Someone will be manning the DSL inbox during term time, Mon-Fri.

School Onsite From March 23 2020

  • School from Monday morning will open at 8.30am until 2.45pm until further notice.
  • Students should come into school via main reception only as usual and wait in the atrium to be registered.
  • They are not required to be in uniform but should be in appropriate comfortable clothing. We ask that they bring in their PE kit so we can ensure they do some physical activity during the day.
  • Students will be following the online learning that their teachers are providing, the same as the students that are working at home.
  • Students will be based in a specific area and will not have access to the whole school this is to ensure we can keep them safe.

  • We will have normal break and lunch times with the school canteen providing a limited service which your child may buy food from in the usual way. Those students who are Free School Meals will be provided with food.
